Thursday Next Extreme: Ian Goldby

Dear Jasper,

This is taken on the edge of a new housing development in north Swindon when I was there visiting a friend. While I was there I was taken on a brief tour of the town, which included The Double Helix of Carfax, but sadly not The Tower of Brunel or The Hanging Baskets of Babbington.

The reason that the photograph features the first Thursday book rather than a more recent one is that I had lent the book to my Swindon friend to introduce her to this famous character of Swindon - and so it was available for the photograph.
