Thursday Next Extreme: Steve James

Having achieved an Honourable Mention in the last competition I thought I would submit entries for 2008.

The first is of me steering the Privateer Lynx back into Victoria harbour, British Columbia, after taking part in a cannon battle with two other ships. I used your book to confirm that my spell on the American ship had not cause me to be affected with grammar shift. I was glad to find I was still honourable.

The second photo demonstrates an interesting phenomenon. I drove past the sign a number of times but is was only when I was carrying your book that I noticed the sign changed.

I enclose a picture of the sign as normally seen and one when I approached the sign carrying one of your books.
