Thursday Next Extreme: Tim Hames

Greetings Jasper!

This is me on Grimsey Island, Iceland, inside the Arctic Circle reading First Among Sequels. This signpost that Iím conveniently standing in front of marks the boundary into the circle and lets you know just how isolated you are by telling you how far it is to some of the worldís major cities. I say isolated but this isn't strictly true; there are 100 people living on the island providing company to the 4 million resident puffins- all of which have eluded this photograph!
