Postcard: 'Sommeworld Advert' (withdrawn)

Sommeworld advert. I always liked the idea that financiers should turn one of the most horrific events of the twentieth century (and there was pretty stiff competition, let's face it) into some form of public entertainment, and Sommeworld is an extension of that idea. I recently discovered that the bombing of Hiroshima had been made into a muscial, so perhaps a 1st World War theme park isn't so very odd after all.

As can be seen, this design was a bit noisy and illegible, so was withdrawn, but not before a few had 'slipped thorugh the net'. It was replaced by NC22.
