This was the second picture Maggy did for The Eyre Affair. Although unfinished, the main elements are here. Visible is Mr Meakle himself looking very confused and sheepish, a carton of 'Leek-U-Like' for those cold nights out staking in Oswestry, a copy of 'The Mole' with the headline 'Nosferatu finally staked' and some garlic and a crusher in a box marked 'Break glass'.
