Welcome to jasperfforde.com. This site contains information about my books, links, pictures for desktop wallpaper, an annotated section of The Eyre Affair, a 'Word Inventory' describing made-up words, reviews, writing notes, and even the opportunity to be featured in the second of the Thursday Next series, Lost in a Good Book (US edition).

The site is, I hope, easy to use. On the top left is the contents tab and since each page has the same background as this one, navigating is a doddle. ++ STOP PRESS Bits of Dodo DNA Recovered ++
This bit of news (many thanks to all those who alerted me!) looks like a case of life imitating ... well, my books at any rate. Although primarily conducted for the purposes of evolutionary forensics, this does seem to be a step in the right direction for anyone who at some time thought it would be fun to have a pet dodo. I am writing TN-3 at the moment and readying TN-2 for publication in July 2002. Even so, I'll be adding to the site as and when.
