<HTML>So... if Katie Fforde is your cousin, (I've noticed her books on Ebay) then who is it who signes the pound notes?
Is it you Jasper? I notice its a J Fforde....

Do you do fivers too?
Was it just a way to practice for book signings?
Or is this moneymaking scheme that you really wouldn't want some department of spec-ops to find out about....hmmmm....I wouldn't have thought your publisher would allow you time away from the next book.

There is going to be an next book isn't there? I mean after 'Lost in a good book' (which I have in book proof but have managed to resist reading beyong page 4, it feels like cheating.....I do keep looking at it though, I'm very tempted. <G>)

<HTML>No, the J.S. Fforde on the banknotes is my father; he was chief cashier at the Bank of England between 1968 and 1972 - 'The Eyre Affair' is dedicated to him.

And TN3 & TN4 are on the drawring board and contracted for...</HTML>

<HTML>so signing stuff runs in the family then.. :-)

I'm delighted about books 3 and 4, now I know I can be patient (well for a little while)
