Whats Thursday's Middle Name

Ever noticed how in various spots on the Jasper Fforde website it gives Thrusday's middle intial as 'E'. Does it say her middle name anywhere, or is it just not there?

Oooh...I liked E for Evening... although if I was Wednesday I'd opt for simply "Eve". Thursday Eve Next... not a bad ring to it.

.- .--. .--. .- .-. . -. - .-.. -.-- / ... --- -- . --- -. . / -.. .. -..
Although it took me a while to get your reference... I saw it as you suggesting that 'E' stood for 'rob' and then you had a rather perculiar .sig seperator.

Perhaps an explanation is called for.

Rob suggested that "E" stood for "Endeavour".

A very common quiz question is "What is the first name of the fictional character Inspector Morse?". (first mentioned in book 12 of 13 and rarely if ever in the t.v. series). The answer is "Endeavour".

I therefore replied in Morse code.

If you want to see what was said, Google the "translate morse code" and you will be able to find a translator or if you are a masochist a table of character codes and then you can do it manually. If you use the manual approach, letters are separated by spaces and words by a solidus ("/").

Cheers

Yay! I am way too amused by this...

Free associating here, but has anyone else seen the latest Red vs. Blue episode? (It mentions Morse code, in case you were wondering)

On a completely related tangent:

Have you ever noticed how the explorer James Cook (The Endeavor Voyage), and John Thaw (Endeavor Morse) look alike?

COINCIDENCE?! I think not. Think about it. Have you ever seen them in the same room together?

James Cook: click
John Thaw: click

"Eternally next" huh? I like it! Sounds a bit like the bit in Through the Looking Glass where they talk about having jam every other day--always yesterday and tomorrow, but never today!
