<HTML>Had to give the camera back, sadly :-(

Only worked here for four weeks or so, so still don't really know people, especially as they're al telesales. Even worse I'm a temp, so we're like beagles in research labs - nobody gives us names as we might need to be put down suddenly.</HTML>

<HTML>Must've rubbed off on you.

Can agree with many of the questions, but Italy fails to await me and I prefer the bad girls....</HTML>

<HTML>We've got the Friday-not-thinking problem going on here. We've got a new printer that does all the faxes, copying and printing. We're a high-tecnology company that designs servers and networks for massive global names. Can we get the thing to do anything other than humm gently? Can we heck as like. 2000 years of progress and a bloke witha chisel and block of stone could still write quicker...

There are currently five people all suggesting various degrees of violence. Most fo teh people here are geeks, but ten minutes of this printer has them all as confirmed luddites.</HTML>

<HTML>OOOH - it just did something.

It's eaten one of tech support's tie.</HTML>

<HTML>LOLOLOL

has the tie come up on the other side as... erm... something other than a tie?
And I thought geeks didnt wear ties ;)

Usually my solution is: turn it off. Turn it on again. 99% of not working problems are apparently solved after doing this :D</HTML>

<HTML>Switching it off caused every light in the building to flicker. Honerstly, this printer is HAL.

We managed to drag the tie free....</HTML>

<HTML>Kill the thing!
Kill it!
Dont let it take over the world!

*grabs the cord and pulls the plug*

erm... what happened? why is it so dark? hello?

hello?

*kicks printer and hears a vague moaning*
erm.. hey little printer are you hurt? we didn't mean that... please... can you give us our world back?
pretty please?</HTML>

<HTML>Perhaps the poor thing was hungry. Feed it the Tech Support chap, see if that works. Failing that, turn it off and call it a day. It's friday after all.

Reboot Tech Support person and reinstall. Usually works. Failing that, it's Repair Method B: hit it with a large hammer. Repeat until successful.</HTML>

<HTML>I'm confuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuused. Too many threads. Too many replies to too many bits of threads. It's friday and my brain hurts (nothing to do with the 8 cups of coffee I've had).

What's everyone up to this weekend?</HTML>

<HTML>Drinking, going to party dressed as traffic lights (hence red hair), sleeping it off, trying to chat up a girl I really like...

Normal weekend, really.</HTML>

<HTML>This one is reaching 80 soon... maybe we'll move to a new one... and consider all other threads closed.

Hmmm sleep! Rest!
Also clean flat, but that's ok if I out on nice music. And I'll be going to some friends' for dinner tomorrow, I havent seen them in ages, it'll be nice...
And see 'Insomnia' or 'Spider' on the cinema, maybe...

Oh, apparently there are flood warnings here, but it's only coz they think it's going to rain a lot and the drainage system in the old places is crap... and not really flood flood as in central europe in august... I think...</HTML>

<HTML>I daren't ask which bits are getting dyed to make up the full traffic light effect...

Bea> not seen either of those, how about a film report on monday morning?

I'm going to try and watch 'saving private ryan' (taped from the other night), and The Faculty (borrowed from a workmate), as well as buy (and fit) a new kitchen floor, attempt to go out running (doing a 1/2 marathon in just over 3 weeks, time to start training....), play with EddieTedster (he's got a new toy truck..) and get some sleep.

Oh, and make candle-holders out of old babyfood jars for the wedding. Glass paint and beads and lots of mess. Great fun.</HTML>
