Other Famous Nursery Crimes

I hardly know English nursery rhymes (being not a native speaker), but during the joy of reading TBOE I was reminded of one that was mentioned prior to a recent broadcast (on Flemish television I think) of the famous movie:

Vintery, mintery, cutery, corn,
Apple seed and apple thorn;
Wire, briar, limber lock,
Three geese in a flock.
One flew east,
And one flew west,
And one flew over the cuckoo's nest.

Now there's a Nursery Crime all right (even in more than one sense, I reckon). Moreover, there is a nice ambiguity on what goose is what personality in the film (or book or play).

Would there be more of the kind? Not counting the ones that mr. Fforde is still to write, that is.

Delacuesta.
