Hmmmm - things looking deeply suspicious!!
A couple of guys almost certainly masquerading under pseudonyms, names of Gilbert and Sullivan may hold the clue to the whereabouts of McGuffin....
They wrote about a Princess who lived in a castle/school open only to women and barricaded from men. Here, one of her aims (Princess Ida Act 2 ) was to "get sunbeams from cucumbers".
Now - as she was obviously not real, was she, in fact, an elaborate cover for you know who?
