Now... I don't know if this was intended to be like the codes scattered throughout TWOLP, but PON-24330 could refer to a certain Planetary Object Named on 24 March 1930. Or I could be clutching at straws, since the acronym is a bit contrived, and if it followed the same conventions the code chould have been PON-2403930, and Pluo isn't even officially a planet any more.

Most weird numbers and acronyms in Jasper's books have had some kind of hidden meaning (Ashley's binary notwithstanding), so it wouldn't surprise me at all.
