Heard back from the publishers - the publication date is 22nd Feb and not as previously advertised so all bookshops are under an embargo.
Except Foyles because if you can get to Jasper's talk this evening, you can get the book. So anyone who can't get to Foyles tonight has to wait until tomorrow to publish the book. Is this discrimination? Am I wrong to feel miffed at the publishers because of this?

It was already on sale ten days ago in Holland. But as you Brits say, "the continent is isolated"...
