Surely Flipper investigating mineshafts in the Australian desert would have been much more interesting than the crap they used to put on before 'Going Live' on a Saturday (am I showing my age here?)...

In the Gurnaria this morning there was a list of suggestions for perfomrance enhancing things that should be banned from sport. Sugestions included cricket bats, in order to even it up a bit, and champagne to stop the buggers celebrating...

Not really a new topic; just a comment. Re. LIAGB and WOLP, Harris Tweed was a grossly incompetent detective in one of the comics (Beano, Dandy, something like that) in my childhood - which is a jolly long time ago, entitling me to one of Gran's 'fuzzy moments' now and again.
