Sorry, me again.

When Thurs (we're on familiar terms) finally meets up with David and his daughter, he tried a number of times (unsuccessfully) to ask her a question. When he finally does, he asks how her dad manages to stop time.

How did he know this???

Ok. this is years too late, but Jasper ran a charity competetion to appear in a book and ask a question. An american set of readers won, and a UK set of readers won. They each got to ask a question. That was David's. Hope that helps.

Hmmm, I recall reading that the UK and US edition published their respective winners, but was it David in both?
