Well, Vladimir and Estragon were driven up the wall for fifty years now waiting for him. So, it seems you may have to wait for a few decades longer...

To be a little more explanatory--
The play "Waiting for Godot" mostly involves the two guys mentioned above…well…waiting for Godot, who never actually shows up. So the whole point is that the question of "who killed Godot" is exactly as much of a loose end as Godot is in the original play, and we're never going to know (if he was even killed at all).

Welcome to the fforum, by the way, Page, and things are a little more active over in Nextian Chat. Why don't you come on over and join us? And have some cake!

Hmmm... I'm not entirely certain if it was the same cake all this time, but they offered some to me when I joined the fffforum...

Don't worry, Page, you're not the first.

The side effects tend to wear off after a few days

...mostly

(Oh, and sorry for not being very helpful above. I thought you knew about the play, and PrinzHilde's answer was very much in the spirit of the thing...)

Yeah, be careful, she could be one of those spammers we've been having such trouble with. One bite of her cake and you'll instantly be compelled to send it on to six others, then go to Egypt and look at pyramids!

Nah, Page is no spammer!

... she is a fffforumite, though, and you know how reliable we are...

Talking about choking on cake.

I had to laugh at a story in the local rag yesterday. One of the reporters was scoffing a cheese and bacon roll. These are huge monstrosities with bacony bits of gristle in them and cheese burned into the top (the buns I mean, not the reporters). You can wring them out and grease a pig with the lard.

He'd got it at the local Coles and it seems he chomped down on a three inch screw that had somehow got baked into it. He got his money back but was quite upset when they wouldn't take the rest off the shelves.

That's all well and good but, tucked away in the middle of the article was the startling revelation that the offending bun was the third that this guy had eaten in a row! Good grief! THAT should have been the story!

Ahhh... I was suspecting you of nothing.

I think that everything may be a trap. That is why I'm still alive.
