What happens you see, and I'll try not to blind you with the science, is that they don't work all the time. Sometimes if you go to another page then it puts them all back, I think, but I've never understood it. After a while you get used to making a note of the last thread you read and the time.

Hi, I'm new and still relatively normal (although many would deny this) so I still need some reforming...
In trying to enter your conversation....what the hell is a PM? I understand it to be "Prime Minister" but I don't think it means that in this conversation.
And what "red marker"? Is it similar to the felt tip kind?
I am also blind to previous comments, slightly deaf (according to my boyfriend) and have a knack for stating the obvious and making vague comments like "What do you know about stuff?". If I do any of the above that annoys you, I apologies in advance.
red marker = read marker = the appearance and disappearance of those little red 'new' tags against messages that should indicate whether you've read that particular message or not, but often (for me) lie
