Someone should start a chocolaterie called Snobberia.

Reminds me, I have to order a chocolate high-heel.

Apparently you mustn't wear them in hot weather.

No, really I do actually have to order one (I think you can only get the one).

I think most Aussie chocolate, or at least, that which is readily available in every shop, contains more cocoa husk sweepings, than actual cocoa.

<still lost in thought of women in chocolate shoes>

Surely it's not that bad? Don't you have the incredibly rare Cherry Bounties there?

Rubbish like cadbury has only been sneezed on by real cocoa beans. The rest is unidentified brown gunge.

Chocolate heels would probably be more comfortable than others, as they'd mould to your feet.

<Wonders what a bounty is>

Bounties are mini-coconut bars covered in either milk or dark chocolate. The dark chocolate ones are nicer, especially when chilled.

they are called "cherry ripes" like a bounty you could be chewing on coconut ofr a few weeks. rather than being a big blob of coconut they are rolled out to about the size of a caramac bar, have bits of "cherry" and coated in dack chocolate.

Bounty, I will admit, is quite nice.
<Wonders if shops are still open>

Madagascan dark chocolate. I think about 85% cocoa butter?

<Looks for open shops. Wheels Kitten into one and points at chocolate.>

Anyone want to debate milk versus dark?

DARK! Muhaha <laughs evilly to show inner darkeness and chocolate preference>

Dark by preference, but as long as it's not white "chocolate" I don't mind, or the horrible red tulip stuff.

'Horrible red tulip stuff'? I like good quality milk chocolate.

I quite like white chocolate. Particularly in that special cheesecake I make with the boysenberries...

Does it matter?

It is chocolate. Need more be said?

I agree with Martin - chocolate is chocolate, and as said before, it's like sex in that there's only good, better, best, even bester.....

White chocolate should (but doesn't always) contain cocoa butter. Dark and milk chocolate contain cocoa solids (or sometimes cocoa liquor) as well as cocoa butter.

Cocoa liquor? Does this mean I'm forbidden from chocolate as well now? Oh, crikey!
