Speaking of which (inserts Anna Coren segue), I finally saw Batman! I haven't looked this up, but maybe I wasn't paying enough attention. Was Batman actually trying to save Rachel and ended up with Harvey, or am I imagining this?

Yes, Batman was trying to save Rachel but I think Joker reversed the locations when he told him. There will be another Batman film, I'm sure.

Aha, I had thought that was the case. It is just that the film didn't really clearly conclude that I think.

A lot of that movie didn't make sense.
Like how they didn't just blame everything two-face did on the joker, how on earth that truck flipped over (oh, silly me- comic book physics, of course!) and a heap of other stuff. But who cares? It was still a great movie!

Was it a great movie? I thought.... NOT!

I didn't think it was bad, just that it wasn't great. 'Iron Man' was probably better.

I thought the Dark Knight was good but not as good as Batman Returns mainly because Christain Bale looks better in the first movie.

I thought Batman deliberately tried to save Harvey (and not Rachel) because a) Harvey was the great hope for a Gotham City policed by the law and not Batman and b) Saving the girl is obvious.
