Charlie Stross recommended that I visit the Laundry there, but Chris Fowler wanted me to pick up some matches. (For non U.K. Fforumites Bryant & May were a brand of safety match)

Simon R Green told me where the Tailors were open in the Night Side of town, and in a surprise reversal Harry Dresden showed me where to buy some meat.

Is this the game where the rules change depending on the day of the week and whether or not it's before the 15th of the month, and if you say "yellow" all the rules change again to a different set? Because if it is, I'd like a seat in the gallery, I'd like to watch. I still haven't quite got the hang of all the rules yet. I'm hoping someone here can help me with the finer points.
Are the houses in the Crescent still lovely and tall and graceful? Or did I just dream that?

No,

this is the Game where you are winning so long as you don't know that you are playing. Everyone is playing so by reading this you have lost!
