For the other down-under fforumites: Wallace and Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death is on ABC Wednesday (3/12/08) at 8:30pm.

Cracking Toast Gromit!

Is is just me? Or does anyone else expect to see Compo and Lofty when they here Peter Sallis's Wallace?

Have already programmed recorder to get W & G on Wed night as may be otherwise occupied. Makes note to watch Hogfather taped abouit 12 months ago but never watched. [4 hours less commercials equals 2 X 250g chocolates and 3 X crunchy crisps plus 1 bottle white wine followed by 2 X black coffee.]

I've been everywhere I can think of but I can't find that it will be showing here anytime soon. Another black mark against the US...

Looks like a party at Bunyips place then! Hey, this could end-up like the whole Cory saga from earlier on in the year in Melbourne.

A party "advertised" on MySpace got a little out of hand, and half of the teenage ruffians in Mebourne descended on one suburban house. Chaos and damaged police cars ensued.

Will sadly not be able to attend due to proliferation of lethal spiders in vicinity.

On holidays and Sundays naught know I more inviting
Than chatting about war and war's alarms,
When antipodeans, up in arms,
Far off, are 'gainst each other fighting.
We at the window stand, our glasses drain,
And watch adown the stream the painted vessels gliding,
Then joyful we at eve come home again,
And peaceful times we bless, peace long-abiding.

(Ay, neighbour! So let matters stand for me!
There they may scatter one another's cars,
And wild confusion round them see--
So here at home in quiet all remains!)

<has read above lot.>

<has not fully comprehended>

<has forwarded
Twelve boomers booming
Eleven emus piping,
Ten 'roos a-leaping,
Nine brolgas dancing,
Eight blue tongue lizards
Seven crocs a-swimming,
Six tiger snakes,
Five white pointers
Four stone fish
Three taipans
Two red backs,
And a tarantula in a gum tree!>

Edited coz I can't read propperlike.
