Have had traditional mid winter change of career and am currently running hotel for international travellers.

Must go sweep out boils between sheets in Regency Suite before am caught enjoying myself.

Still have two spaces available in restaurant tonight if anybody fancies goose.

Have astonishing spectacle of knitted nativity in dining room should you need further enticement.

Happy New Year everybody!!!

My God - is it really 12 months since the London farceworks and the mad midget policewoman on her polo pony?!

Quiet one this year - found rest of notes from last year though. That was enough to keep me at home, if nothing else was.

Happy New Year , also, to all and sundry and anything else reading this.

Adelaide is suffering a 24C day today. Suffering because it's always worse waiting for the hot weather, which I am glad to say, has at present gone to Perth, Brisbane and Sydney.

I drove past the largest storage dam (South Para) a couple of days ago and the recent rain has put about an extra 3 feet of water in it compared to a month ago. We still have water restrictions but at least you can go to the swimming pools again.

I hope that all your hangsover are mild and you are set for another year of deathless commentary on the human condition.
