I'm still unsure what to make of that, but it has gone down from the last time you computed it.

Only 74? That's shocking...

Still, it must be more by now...

Yup, this one makes it 100!

Happy Century to my posts.

OK, I'll stop with that now...

Also apparently 17 messages (well 18 with this one) contain the word 'plock', and none of them have been written by me.

Mildred is most offended.

Dido (my dodo) says "plock" to Mildred. ;-)

Mildred says a hearty 'ploik' back. I don't remember Dido appearing, neither does Mildred. Was this when we were lurking in the cyber ether?

Dido arrived around the middle of April, if I remember correctly. She'd been on order since just after Christmas. All right, I know she had to come all the way from Mauritius, but what did she do, walk?

Well, she wasn't going to fly now, was she ?

Dodos don't generally earn enough to afford international travel.

Maybe she swam. She's not afraid of water is she?

Lol, yeah. Mildred isn't, oddly enough. Though she has a habit of calling it 'wetter'. Which I guess it is, in comparison to some things.

The only circumstance in which Wilfred is afraid of water is if you put it in his drink. And, speaking of Wilfred, he is now living in terror of being caught by a Goliath operative and put in an entree. I keep telling him it's all right, this house doesn't entirely exist in the same universe as anywhere else, but you know how he worries, poor bird...

(Er, for newcomers to the Fforum who are not familiar with Wilfred, he is... oh, good grief, where do I start? Well, he's a penguin. He's permanently drunk. He has a tendency to fall madly in love with dodos, and occasionally believes that he is one himself. And there's a picture of him somewhere on Jon's website which I can't seem to access at the moment, presumably because of Jon's recent computer problems. Yes, I am barking mad, but in my defence I'm not the only person here who is!)

Sarah, I believe the answer to that is, anyone here who isn't barking mad should be shot!

Moment of panic there when I thought AOL had eaten the site with the pics of Wilfred (and others). In fact all they'd done was eaten the underscore that used to be part of the url (search me why).

Revised url for pics of Wilfred etc. ;
