What are pockets? I have a bucket on my head and if I can't see something then it doesn't exist.

<removes towel from head as fears it might be concealing her female identity>

In the absence of BK, our official representative from the Office of Double Entendre, I feel compelled to point out that I am not prepared to have anybody rifling about in my pockets looking for a Brazilian anything.

Would also question the wisdom of using known arms dealers as Weapons Inspectors.

I would say the proposition has already been proven:

no one believes in honest politicians anymore <or possibly ever> any they don;t seem to exist! QED

This also explains the absence of paired socks and toot sweets.

<asks Geg to put towel back on head>

In order to demonstrate ES's sloppy use of language - places towel on CR's head.

Goes back to pairing socks.

Reminisces about favourite pair of pink and silver striped socks, alas one is lost.

<apologises to to Geg for mistaking her gender and agrees that the towel did not help>

<decides to unapologise and try to get away with the old mankind rather than personkind ploy of suggesting that where gender is not the issue it is normal to use the masculine form to cover both male and female on the grounds that men get all huffy if it is wrong but women tend to just sigh and get on with it>

<decides that it is not worth the effort and so apologises anyway>

Which one is lost Bibby? the pink or the silver striped sock?

The left one. Accepts odd sock from ES.

Mutters; not for first time, but it was a very, very pretty towel, my gender may not been an issue to you, how many times do I have to mention curtains....

Is distracted by BH's very, very, lovely stripey socks, chooses not to mention that they appear to not quite be a pair.

Comes up with brilliant plan of changing user name to Mrs Geg - wonders how to go about it......

<mumbles>

<struggles to remove damp towel>

Wonders why anyone is worried about gender in the Fforum?

I would, but he can't see what any of us are saying - he's got a towel wrapped around his head and keeps asking "Have the angry drop bears gone yet?"
