Check out JFf's new page at [www.jasperfforde.com]

Not only is it a very cool image of all the various editions of his books, with info thereon, but you can download snippets from the audio books as well. Muchos yay.

Cool site.

And dave, I like your new sig.
I notice that it's changed even on your old posts.

Yeah, I noticed that when Jon and PSD changed theirs.

Since I like to vary mine a bit, I've been typing them in by hand occassionally, so they'll stay put.

I'm planning to change mine once a week to stop me getting bored. Unfortunately I might run out of cool latin fairly soon, so may have to switch to something else.

I don't like signatures, sometimes they look quite ridiculous, we had an email at work of some odd bloke complaining and ranting really rudely about someone in a shop and then it ended with a sig about love and friendship.

H'm yes, I do know what Carla means ... there was a guy used to (he may still do, but I killfiled him) post racist hate mail on a Tolkien forum, and his sig was 'Have a nice day, y'all'.

Racist bullshit with customer service values? I'm sure there's a lesson there...

Sig's are useful for saying something about youself, but I agree they can be annoying - especially on forums where people include images as a sig that take hours to load every time... That pisses me off, as my computer sits and chugs for hours over them.
