The Times today published "Stancliffe's Hotel" by Charlotte Bronte, for anyone who's interested, and Penguin are bringing it out as a paperback towards the end of the month. Given the title, I was most disapointed to find it wasn't the tale of a Torquay Hotel Owner. I suspect there's a parody in this one, somewhere...

EDIT--> Actually, there wasn't an edit after all. Forget I said anything. Although seeing as I've given that away, did anybody see the Guarniad correcting a correction this morning? The original article referred to seals equipped with devices to intercept enemy divers (is it me or have the Pentagon been watching Austin Powers?).
The original correction stated that this should have been Navy S.E.A.L.S (special forces, I'm lead to believe). Not so - hence a further correction this morning to say that it should have read seals in the first place and that the American Navy has indeed trained sea lions to protect ships.
What price another correction tomorrow explaining that sea lions are not, in point of fact, seals? (they can be distinguished from seals by being able to turn their hind flippers forward to walk upon, rather than dragging them behind, they also have external ears)

This is the work of an Italian narco-anarchic collective. Don't bother insulting them, they can't read English anyway.
