Hi mayxia.

help yourself to pie. Sweet to the left savoury to the right. The first thing I would do is contact ok-@#$%&. While you are waiting, may I suggest that you read "The Eyre Affair" as it is full of useful advice on just this problem!

<chuckles to self>

They should read The Eyre Affair, even if only to learn how to use punctuation more effectively...

Perhaps "Lost in a Good Boot" or "The Well of Lost Plods" may be of more use?

<ducks to avoid thrown shoes>

Not sure why Don gave you his viking helmet Kitten, but...

It always amazes me that at some point in time some Sven or Eric must have had the great notion: "Hey, wouldn't some cow horns sticking out of this helmet look just dandy!"

And I can't help but wonder what the other guys said when he wore it for the first time. Perhaps, "Hey Signurd! Did your mom design that or are you just glad to see us?".

Am too worried by robert's post to eat cake.

First there was a world with no pointy helmet and then there was a world with lots. How did we get from one state to the other?

How do you sleep at night with worries like that?

Forget about pointy helmets. How did we get to a state where wearing a baseball cap the right way around marks one out as a pathetic rube?

Personally I think Gomer Pyle was the first to wear them back to front and I blame him for the sorry mess the world is now in.

Have tried, but have failed to forget whole pointy helmet thing.

Reliably informed by Little Gegs, that wearing baseball helmet right way round perfectly acceptable as long as you make lovely crease in peak. Tentatively suggests that robert is either "grandad" or American.

Still not sleeping.

Logically, a baseball cap peak should always be pointed toward sun. Therefore a niche market in sundial baseball caps could be established. QED.

If you can have sundial baseball, you can have sundial Viking helmets. Which horn to remove? And who's to say that they weren't worn with the horns front and back instead of left and right?

<finds that this is all too much on a Friday afternoon.>

<is reminded that it is only Thursday.>

<is depressed>

Puts forward theory that viking helmets actually cunning navigation device. Lined up correctly with setting sun provide very accurate indication of nearest pillaging point.

Is worried by Hitw's depression so sings jolly song reminiscent of George Formby.

I'm very good aren't I? It could almost be the man himself.

Hopes song had desired effect, a little hard to tell as HITW seems to have disappeared.
