Pass the alphabet grenade please. If it goes off, it could spell disaster.

It's from Tim Vine actually. A lesser-known contemporary legend.

One of my faves of his is "I have spent the afternoon re-arranging the furniture in Draculas house… I was doing a bit of Fang-Shui"

"I was in a Chinese restaurant when a duck came up to me with a rose and
said: 'Your eyes sparkle like the stars'. So I said to the waiter: 'Excuse me, I ordered aromatic duck"

(O.K. it's a bit long for a one-liner)

As an aside, did you know that quite a few of Tim's jokes were great favourites of Tommy Cooper?

Be careful. That rumour has been around for a while and caused much controversy and trouble.

You may be right: I have seen that some of his one-liners were used in the stage-show about TC and it may well be those that I remember. Ah well, it looks like another evening will be spent watching the TC videos and TV dvd!

I like Victor Borge's puntuation skit. I was 10 when I first heard it and couldn't stop laughing.

90 Day Alert.

A little under three months ago, the Cowardly Lion was seen rising through the stage floor to disappear in the region of the ceiling. A slight aberration in the Constellation of Leo indicates a possible reappearance 90 days after the last known sighting.

Be Alert!

Please ensure that only grey and black squirrels are used: red squirrels are ALL wanted.
