Sad news that Dick Francis aged 89 died today.

He was my favourite author RIP Mr Francis

I'm afraid that I never enjoyed his books, though. (I'm not a gambler or a horsey person, so I wasn't the target audience.)

He fell off the horse a bit after he lost his missus. Whip Hand is still way up there in my canon, though.
