0) Animal
1) Christmas related? No (Is it going to be something that sorts the wheat from the chaff, like the last subject?) (probably not)
2)Is the animal in question either eaten or worn by human beans? No (but some of it's less anthropomorphic relatives are)
3)Is it an actual living animal? some say so but probably not
4) Has it got a big foot Yes - both feet are big, but probably not as big as Big Foot
5) Has this strange beast ever been known to carry a basket, despite the lack of opposable thumbs? Yes. I have always thought that (s)he would drop the obviously delicate cargo.

No pocket unless it is wearing a jacket and I think it is usually white.

Wait wait wait.

Does "0) A common substance of physical reality" imply that it is neither Animal, nor Vegetable, nor Mineral?
