Seems unlikely that he'll be there - I don't think he will have been* born for another 6 years.

I thought we'd finished your thesis for you already elsewhere on the fforum.

*Anybody wishing to have a go at the correct tense for this sentence, please feel free.

Possibly paulo-post-ante-past tense, if 6 years can be seen as "a little."

I find I can get along just fine with about three tenses.

Past Imperfect: "Yesterday I ran out of beer."

Present continuous: "Today I am drinking beer."

Future Perfect: "Tomorrow there will be free beer."

There is of course the Present Indicative, but lacking the Latin for Beer Belly I'm finding that a little difficult to conjugate.

I've ordered our tickets for 2011/1968. See you there?

With Mr Skids in attendance, how can you refuse?

See you in May.

I would love to, but I would have to win a lottery or something between now and then. Changing continents is expensive. Wish me luck...

Sell everything and buy a ticket now, you won't regret it, or at least not 'till you get back. Or you could start a business selling breadbins - they seem to be your primary interest.

I am incontinent, and I'm still planning on attending.

Or a I missing the point here somewhere?

You can sit on a plastic sheet next time you get in my car then!

I don't think I can afford the trip yet (in a few years, maybe!) but if I decide to swim the Atlantic will someone volunteer to meet me at the beach with a towel?

I'll have at least two - and they'll all be soft and fluffy.
