How lovely. My sister really liked it. It's up there with 'What if Jeeves were Superman' and 'Gordon Brown and Zippy never seen in same place? Coincidence?'

It's good.....send a copy to Stephen Fry.

PS I read a Wooster omnibus edition and before I finished it I threw it on the floor and said it should be burned. Never before have I said that of any book.

But when you read en masse the asininity of Wooster and his inability to learn or even grow up it shows either many people are easily pleased or I am really out of kilter.

The use of the language is excellent but the 'plots' are purile.

Sorry to disagree with Bunyip, here, but I must defend PGW! while reading too many at one sitting is not a good idea, isn't this true of almost any series?
I find that part of the point of Bertie is that he doesn't learn. For that we should blame Jeeves, who denies him the value of a salutary lesson.

Again as it is Jeeves' job to be the batman, Bertie would have to be Robin.

Would that make Gussie Finknottle Commissioner Gordon or The Riddler?

I don't wish to know that! Please leave the room.

How can you worry about being in a room or if the door is open at a time like this?

Bunyip is wrong about something.

I've checked, the world is still turning on its axis but for all I know, Hell has frozen over, Ant is standing on the wrong (right) side of Dec and my husband is about to take up DIY. It's also a distinct possibility that Friends isn't currently on E4. The World as we knew it is at an end, I definitely recommend Universal Panic.

Gosh, is that ALL? The nature of democracy may be about to change, protests are racking the Middle East, AND BK has returned with a plenitude of pointy sticks.

remember what Kipling wrote:

If you can keep your head when all around are panicking, then you'll be a head taller.

In an alternate many world scenario it has been shown that all things are made up of pointy sticks of varying pointedness and size.

I have not yet seen the quantum effects of reducing a pointy stick to a blunt stick

When that happens then that is the time to be worried about the universe changing.

Our lord is a pointy stick and Kitten is its chief priestess.

And I'm chief heretic, as well as barbecue technician.

Now I have no idea what to worry about; the fact that bunyip has been shown to be fallible, the fact that I have to worship kitten, or that some fool has left ES in charge of the barbecue again.
