Violetmoon,
Those pointy stick things were given to BK in the hope that they would weigh her down and we could run faster then could she.

But I believe her next course of study is knitting with pointy sticks and as she will probably be using hawsers or sticky toffee it will be interesting observing from a distance while eating good chocolate.
