Dragonslayer - as there is no separate forum yet

So what's happening about this book? No launchparty / signings anywhere (I don't have one of these whizzy new phones with apps and things), it just seems to have sneaked out relatively quietly. I found it tucked into the 'FF' section of the fiction shelves in my local bookshop - not prominantly displayed in the 'New Books' section.

Just have to read it now! At least there is a competition to work on...

Nice crinkly cover though.

More specifically, does anyone know if anyone is planning to publish the book in the US?

Eventually I'm going to order it from Amazon.uk, but I sure would like to see a US version!

Yeah, I've been wondering about a US release. This is the first time I've had trouble getting a hold of one of Jasper's books over here; Barnes & Noble usually has them but this time it isn't even in their database (and they do have TN-6). I keep Googling and checking the site for an update but no dice. I hope it hits our shores soon; the Dragonslayer page here is making me salivate.

I've just downloaded it onto the iphone that I really shouldn't have and mostly just jab at shortsightedly until a child comes to rescue me.

To be honest I'm finding it hard to concentrate on the story because I keep getting distracted by amazement at the thought that I have a book on my phone.

No, really - there's an entire book on there - with pictures and everything.

The digitization of music was fine by me - if i never see another record or even CD - that'll be just fine - but a book without a cover?

I couldn't help but think of Tom Holt while reading it.

For good measure, there is a separate forum now here.
