I received my copy of TN6 a day before the official release date (thanks, Amazon).
Rather than dive in I decided I would start right back at the beginning, and go through them all in order again (fourth time, I think), but I'm only up to chapter 11 of TN1 (I love those bookworms!) and already I can feel my resolve slipping... I mean, I liked SOG well enough but I've really missed Thursday. I want to see how Friday et all are doing. I want to dive into more, brand new, Jasperesque craziness.
Could you do it? Any suggestions for keeping me on the straight and narrow?
Just remember the journey is often as good as the destination, so in re-reading you may see all those things that you did not see in previous readings, or consider them differently as you have knowledge of what their relevance is to later parts of the saga.
Also put the newest book at the bottom of the pile and then the next newest, etc. , until the Eyre Affair is on top. Read downwards and don't cheat.
