Urgh. I trawled through all those posts last night. Nasty. Though the advert did annoy me, when I saw it - for those not on afp, it's the one for Frosted and Coco Shreddies that has the slogan "Too tasty for geeks". (Geeks like chocolate, surely??)

Is there anyone going to the Swindon Festival of Literature who would be interested in writing a blurb about it for Whatever Next? We would love to have a story, (length of your choosing) and some pics.
Anyone interested, please let us know ASAP! Thanks!

Hullo everyone and especially Gill. I was really pleased to meet you and your family tonight (and of course Corsham).
It was such an enjoyable evening; the best talk I've been to at the Swindon Festival by a loooong way - even including Terry Pratchett last year.
Last week I bought a brand new book from an internet bookshop for the enormous sum of £8.56 plus postage. I was a bit worried when it arrived as on the bottom of the front cover are the words 'Uncorrected bound proof - not for resale'.
Of course this didn't stop me reading it and enjoying it very much, and as result of seeing Jasper tonight it is now inscribed 'For Naomi - 1st public signing of TN3! Jasper'.
Oh, I didn't mention - as if you hadn't already guessed - it's WOLP, and it is so good!
With all the excitement of last night I forgot to say that as I had 3 books signed I got 3 postcards; Interview with the Cat (I asked for that one of course), Pete & Dave’s Dodo Emporium, and Rare FeMole Thursday Next Edition.
Just to say that my hubby and I had a great time last night too. We travelled over 100 miles to attend and didn't get home till 12.30am but it was well worth it. I am v. jealous of the proof copy of TN3,what a wonderful thing to own! Lucky you!
I drove 200 miles to see Jasper during his US tour (since that was as close to me as he got), and got home around 1am. I also felt it was well worth the trip.
