As we are getting near to the 2012 event, am I the only one who is getting excited?

I understand that for those of you unlucky enough to be too far away to attend this is frustrating, but as far as I know this is an entirely fan-run event. Even though the Great Panjandrum (JFf) attends, it is down to a handful of dedicated people to make it happen.

Before you write this off as as a @#$%& plug, I am not one of fforganisers. I just admire and applaud their efforts and feel that they don't get enough support from the rest of us.

Probably as an anti-spam measure a word above has been changed. It was nothing rude but meant "not inexpensive" and had nothing to do with shoes

There was a thread a while ago on the words changed by this board's anti-spam tools. The word above (c h e a p) is the only one I recall.

I'm going, I'm going!! This will be the third time and I love it. I feel the enjoyment factor alters the more effort you put into it as a delegate. Who would'nt want to dress up in a long black dress wig and sungogs to march round a supermarket on Saturday morning singing marching songs and watching the locals scuttle.

I love getting drenched in the Lobster Space invaders game.

Competitions? Bring e'm on. Bus tours to see Goliath Corp Headquarters and the Magic Roundabout of Swindon. Brilliant.

OB, I am the the short, fat BOF Mrs. Danvers and mrs. SkidMarks is the lady with loooooooong chesnut/brown hair Mrs. Danvers. Make yourself known and perhaps there will be a drink involved.

I'll be the one dressed as Mrs Danvers.I shall be in the company of Mrs Danvers, Mrs Danvers and quite possibly a couple of other Mrs Danvers. The lobster who accompanies up will probably not be dressed as Mrs Danvers.

Strange that, 'cos my dodo will definitely be dressed as Mrs. D.

The lobster has cross-species dressing issue - we're working on it.

Yes OB is old boiler who after a computer springclean got lost in the great chickencoop of IT with no identity. The great panjandrum snapped his fingers and hey presto I got abbreviatitis.

Sadly, finances are low just now and I will not be able to attend. Its too bad, since the theme is 1952 - the YEAR I was BORN!

My Will Shakespeare puppet misses his homeland as well. I expect to see a lot of photos posted so I can attend by proxy - or something.
