Where's your dog?

I spent two hours this afternoon with a game that had me really giggling and thought I would share:

Warning: You don't need a broadband connection, but without it the loading time for the levels might be a tad longish

Its brilliant! Daren't stay on it too long tho I have too much to do.
Thanks!

There is only one inborn error, that is the notion we exist in order to be happy.
This arises from constantly deluded hope and so also dissatisfaction.

It's bizarre, and strangely peaceful... I'm not quite sure if it even pretends to have a point, but that's really okay. It's charming just the same...

Oh, it has a point. You have to find out how things work, and after a number of adventures, he can free his dog.

Fantastic. I have just got into the outer hatch.
Can you save your position I wonder? Or perhaps that's one of the things you get when you pay for the full version.

This will have to join the ranks of Civilisation and Lemmings - for when I have a spare week!

*sigh..* Playing lemmings on a sega megadrive. Now those were the days...

Great game btw, made a nice change from essays, even if I was yelling at the monitor for a good 10 minutes until I realised you had to take the corks out of the bottles! Dont' worry, I felt suitably ashamed for getting so mad at such a lovely little game.

Yay! I finished it! (What they will let you play for free, at least.) There's also a Samorost1 which I have to try now...

Robert, you wondered if you could save your position... there are codes for each level in the bottom right hand corner so you can skip ahead to whichever level you were last at.

I played Samorost1 a while back, I found this one just as engaging. Took time to work out what I could interact with though...

They're a lot like the Myst games. Story is second to the puzzles! Although they do have really good stories..

Um? Game?

Most amusing.

Mrs Next, Civilization is quite possibly the greatest game in existence.

And also the only one where you lose whole days and don't respond to anything but the game! And food? For wimps!

No, the best game, for me, will always be Ico (ps2). The only game I have literally spent days playing, but seemingly getting nowhere. It just keeps going!

Very strange, addictive game.
