the question on the multiple choice in "Well of Lost Plots", Who said "When she appeared, it was as though spring had finally arrived after a miserable winter"?, is this line in the movie "Chocolat"?

Did anyone ever get this answer

If Caty did, why doesn't she tell us?

Just kidding, bad pun! I'll see if I can find an answer...

More likely a book.

You know, I have absolutely no idea.

(I was covering my ignorance too. I just thought that since it's a Jurisfiction test, it is more likely to be a book than a film. Of course there are no guarantees with Jasper....)

I seem to remember someone else asked this once and someone said it was from one of the Jeeves books... It certainly sounds Wodehousey...

Actually, it does sound Wodehousey. Can't be a Jeeves book, though. Bertie Wooster can't describe someone that eloquently.

If people want to go over to the WOLP site, I've bumped the "Help. Entrance Exam" discussion to the top (or April 16, anyway).

There you will find our past ruminations on this question; of which ruminations I'm sure all will agree that my own is the most ruminant, finding -as it does- a reference for a completely different quote in lieu of the one in question.

And I'm surprised to find that almost the exact same comment was made about Wodehouse and Jeeves, and I made almost exactly the same response about Bertie Wooster's intelligence, almost exactly a year ago. Thanks for bringing it up, Robert!
