If it has ended I can't help thinking that the afterlife is as much a gallimaufry as the previous episodes. I might enjoy it

How can the world have ended in 2012 if the Ffiesta is in 2057?

Wishful thinking, but it might all be water under the bridge now: however, let's play along with it and see what happens (or will it)

We should be foreward planning, by committee if necessary, for the end of 2013.

It will happen overnight if we don't make appropriate arrangements beforehand.

I spoke to a Mayan friend about the end of the world in 2013, but he said that he could not help as he died last year.

Does anyone else remember the ISIRA skit where the world was due to end at noo?. Among other things the FA Cup final was brought forward to 10.30am. There would be no overtime.

Spark any memeories among the living?

Yes - I was a big fan and continue listening to I'm Sorry I haven't a clue.
Do you also remember Pete 'n Dud's sketch of the group sat out on a hilltop awaiting the end of the world? It ends withem rescheduling for the meeting.

Peter Cook.."5,4,3,2,1"

All..."Now is the end-perish the world!"

pause

Peter Cook..."It was GMT wasn't it?"

Jon Miller..."yes"

Peter Cook... "Well it's not quite the conflagration I was banking on. Never mind lads, same time tomorrow-we must get a winner one day"

Much to my dismay I don't remember it. I wonder if it is that bit of my brain yet discovered by the human race, or by me?

*** an aside toi the main thoughts: I went an watched a couple of tapings of 'i'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue' when I lived in London town. One was when Nigel Distemper was on the panel and it being at the time of the Charles and Diana and the train he spoke of it for half an hour giving all the inside scandal. Humph then told us that we never heard it and it would never be played on then radio. I wonder if it is the BBC archives still?
