neither have I. However, as I'm re-reading The Eyre Affair, I thought it might prove enlightening.

Good thought. I wish I had time, but with this and that (and the other, of course) I just haven't. I'm chargin my way through Elizabeth Peters at the moment, then I have to re-read TEA and LiaGB before WoLP comes out, and then all four Harry Potter before that comes out.

Oooh, I'm in for a heavy reading month. Don't know when I'm going to revise, but hey...

I did the 4 HP's last year so i'll be ok with that.
I want to reread the Phillip Pullman Dark Materials trilogy before "Lyra's Oxford" comes out though...

Lyra's Oxford? When's that due out? Hadn't heard of that before.

I have read the 4 HPs before, but I figured I should do it again so they all make sense...

Lyra's Oxford is due out in October or November (not sure)

I think he is still finishing the book!

What i meant is i reread all the HP's in one go last year so they are still quite fresh in my mind...

I also read TEA and LIABG before WOLP and it all came clearer (well kind of)

luckily we've got the HP books on tape for car journeys, so know them all pretty well.

Got a bit bored of the Pullman books, got lost halfway through the last one. I'm sure it's all very good, I just couldn't be arsed.

The end of the last pullman makes the rest make sense. Sort of.

So is Lyra's Oxford set after the Amber Spyglass then?

I found the copy of Jane Eyre on PG. It's sat with a whole bunch of other classics I feel I should read, on my hard drive, waiting for me to find a @#$%& Palm or some such to read them on.
And a new Philip Pullman? Sounds interesting....

I'm already down to get the new Pullman as soon as the proofs are ready. I had lunch with him last October - very nice man, very unassuming and good company.

Bloody hell -wish I'd known - I've had some of her stuff on the shelf for ages but it went to the charity shops! any books that I get sent at work that I don't want I put on the 'shelf' for general consumption and if they don't go, the charity shops get them.

Okay - next DWJ I get I'll post.
