Does anybody have any favourite general knowledge questions?
I've got to do a 2009/Christmas quiz, and so far all I have is "Who was Swindon twined with earlier this year."

If you don't mind, I will only answer in this one thread.
Besides the obvious of dipping into a Trivial Pursuit box (other quiz games are available) have you considered a trip to the local library for some trivia books? There are a couple of reasonable Christmas themed ones. My favourite is probably "The bathroom book of Christmas trivia" by Lisa Wojina. Avoid Steve Wright's factoid books as there as many wrong as right factoids!
