I'm a big sister, with one little brother (okay, he's actually taller than me) 2 and a half years younger.

I'm the youngest of 7...

my oldest brother is 23 years older than I am and the next youngest to me is 10 years older.

However, I have 15 nieces and nephews from my various siblings and the oldest ones are just a mere 4-7 years younger than I am, so I'm really closer to that generation.

So therefore, I have qualities of the youngest and the oldest child. Life is so confusing! LOL

just fyi, I have 2 more nieces on my husband's side plus I have 10 grand nieces and nephews from my siblings' kids'

Eldest of three, the middle one has just gone 21, and the little one is, erm, 18, I think. don't look at me like that, why would I want to know anything about him? Biggest is best ;)

Wow Twila, what a big family. A friend of mine was the youngest and her brother and sister were 12 and 14 years older than her, she used to say she was a "oops"

my brother was an "oops"...I was an "OH MY GOD! We can still have kids??!!"

(from me it's 10 years to the next youngest then another 5 to the 3rd youngest!)

I'm a middle child and the middle ones have it the hardest. Eldest is one parent's favrourite, youngest is the others. The middle one has to rely on the dog!

I'm the eldest and I was an oops. My folks were still in college, and while already engaged they had to move the wedding date up. I was one of those famous 7 months after the wedding babies.

In fact, I'm told mum had gotten birth control pills, and was waiting for her next cycle to start taking them. Turned out she was shutting the barn door a bit late.

Apparently my dad just wanted one kid (he's an only child) so my mum kind of took care of things for me to show up, at least that's what I remember hearing...

I have only a younger sister - too bad, I always wanted a brother; so much so that I gave my sister a boy nickname. She didn't mind it, thou

I have one brother, who's three years (& a few months) younger than me, but no sisters.

I'm the eldest of three sisters; the other two are twins, nearly four years younger than I am.

My niece is an "oops". But she's a wonderful "oops". :-)

I'm an older sister, to my little brother. Neither of us are 'oops'es. (Should that be a word?)
