If Jane Eyre goes on the top ten I wonder who they will choose (or how they will choose) for champion.

It would be great to see Jasper on the telly, and it could get Thursday a few more fans!

Well, if they work it the same way as the Greatest Britons one the top 100 will be whittled down to I think 20, and then various slebs do a short programme championing their favourite book, following which there is another vote (only from those 20) to decide the official (ha!) top book.

I agree JFf should be the Eyre champion and we know the very person to suggest the idea to, too, although I don't believe it is actually his favourite book!
