It's not just the men who get football withdrawal symptoms! However, I shan't be developing mine till the beginning of next week, since my team is in the second division play-off final.

We are QPR, I said we are QPR... whoops, sorry, touch of overenthusiasm there...

A friend I haven't seen much of lately came round this evening. Ven had an appointment at a hospital close to where I live, and took the chance to pop by, catch up and return my copies of TEA and LIAGB (hurrah !).
She wanted to go on-line to check her e-mails, so I took the chance to show her the fforum. Ven is already on several writers forums and says she hasn't got time for this one. I thought a sample might encourage her, especially the thread about cats - she has 3. Also told her that we are an agreeable lot. She hasn't been reading one of her usual forums for a fortnight because it got very touchy and political, with some Americans and British exchanging insults.
Thank the GSD that us on the fforum are more likely to exchange recipes.

I was asleep! Well, not all day. Just for 12 hours. (I'd had a bad night the night before).

I'm awake now. <thud><snore> What? Who said that?

Isn't the plural of "Stella Artois" simply "lagers"?
