He he - whenever I see the title of this thread I always want to sing "Did you happen to see the most beautiful girl in the world". Fortunately for my colleagues at work I manage to restrain myself.

I want to sing Hey Hey Na Na (Kiss Him Goodbye) and I've never been much good at restraining myself (insert bondage gag here).

Just thought I'd mention that a friend of mine went to Hay and reported that Jasper was getting longer queues (at least at one point) than Terry Pratchett.

No disrespect to the excellent Mr Pratchett, but nonetheless... yay!

Yes, I've often thought that. But not dared say so in front of any Pratchett fans. I also wonder if TP started out nicer but had it beaten out of him after 25 years of dealing with assorted idiots. The moral of that tale might be; be nice to authors, cos they'll stay nice to you ....
