I quite like it, actually. I used to have a t-shirt that colour. Mind you. I've had t-shirts in most colours by now... Most of them clash.

well, PSD, it's good to have t-shirts in many colors so you can wear one that doesn't clash with your hair-color-of-the-moment...right? LOL

WEll, I'm actually pretty faithful to having red hair now - I've finally found a dye that doesn't turn slowly orange... Green and blue don't really suit my complexion, and bleached blonde looks good but is so hard to get right it isn't worth it... Red, on the other hand, makes my eyes stand out - and not because they're bloodshot but because they're blue, and the colour seems even more intense as a result. My eyes are supposed to be my best feature, but what are everybody elses?

The eyes have it again with me - they're sort of brownish with hints of green (but not hazel). The funny thing is that when I've been crying, they look extremely green.

Also hair, once it's back under control. Growing out layers at the moment and it's driving me mad!!!

And must confess that Susannah (from Trinny and Susannah) has told me that I've got 'great tits'! Men have told me that as well (thank goodness).........

My best feature .... um ... would you believe my teeth. Well, that's the first thing Claire said she noticed when she met me; 'Ooh, he's got good teeth'. The first thing I noticed about her was that she was a lot taller than I'd been expecting, an observation made less tactfully by my mother; "Oh, you're a big girl!' .. yes, well done our Mam ....

My best feature.....not my teeth, although I'm told I have a nice smile. Probably my eyes, especially when I've got the contacts in. My eyes are blue-grey, with a dark blue ring around the edge of the iris, and I have long, black eyelashes that curl outwards naturally.

my hubby says my eyes are my best feature and that I have a nice smile. (and he likes my cheeks too! silly boy - big girl Irish cheeks!)

My eyes are quite large, walnut shaped and true green...not bluish or gray or brownish or hazel...true green and they have a darker green ring around the outside. Goes with the gingery hair I suppose. But I have very pale skin with a tinge of pink in it, so my eyes tend to be very bright against that.

And once I get rid of my glasses, (getting laser surgery probably next year) they'll look even better. I'd wear contacts, except for I'm allergic to my own proteins that collect on the lenses and I get "jelly bumps" on the insides of my eyelids!

(and I also had the same experience as Claire...cuz I'm 5'9" tall and built like an Amazon and people can be kind of taken aback by that at times! LOL)

Built like an Amazon?

What? You keep crashing whenver a credit card comes near you and carry a load of books nobody's heard of?

Or is that just my experience?

5' 9" ? that's nothing !

My friends Sarah Edwards and Jenny are both 6' 3". Me and some friends were once having a theorectial discussion about who we would choose as Best Man/Bridesmaids. I got the biggest laugh by suggesting Sarah, because I'm only 5' 1". It would save space on the wedding photos: I could stand right in front of her and we'd both be seen clearly !

I used to date a 6-footer - and I was only 5'5" at the time. It caused much hilarity amongst my friends at the time, but at least it gave me an excuse for always staring at her cleavage...

My eyes aren't bad. They were blue when I was a child, but now are sort of blue/grey/green, with the color changing depending on what I wear.

I tried contacts for a while, but had the same problem Twila did - kept getting a bump in the inside of the left eyelid when it got irritated. Didn't work well with my allergies either, and allergy meds dried out my eyes, making the contacts uncomfortable. Since I haven't the blunt for laser surgery, I guess I'll just keep wearing glasses. Should get some new ones one of these days.....

The thing I get the most compliments on is my hair, which is long and has a natural wave to it. Mind you, it's rapily greying (I have more grey in my thirties than my mother has in her 50s), but I'll probably dye it before I visit my little brother, so folks don't mistake me for his mother. What's really annoying is that it's the red highlights that have gone grey first.

Oh, and when I wear a low cut dress and a corset, men give me chocolate.

my ex-fiance was a very small guy...he was 5'6" on a tall day and only weighed 105 lbs. He had a 28" waist...

I on the other hand, well, I'm not a little girl in the least. We used to make jokes about Jack Spratt and his wife...

At least Jon and I are more closely physically matched. AND he's taller than I am. Not always something easy to find, especially on the East Coast of the US...there are lots of shorter Jewish men here - Eastern European types. I grew up in burly lumberjack country of the Pacific Northwest- lots of Swedes and Norwegians and northern Germans.

And that's what my hubby is, half Swede and 1/4 German and some UK Islander type strains in there too... lol

---> edit: uh, that's MY Jon (Reed), not Jon Brierley for those newbies who might be confused! LOL

i've always wanted blue hair....seems like fun. but then i'd have to bleach my black hair first, and me and bleach and other dangerous substances should not be combined. might hurt myself! but i've always loved my hair and though not my best feature, i do have freakishly small hands. about the size of a small child's.

I like my eyes. I used to think they were boring when i was in Portugal but here in the UK big brown eyes seem rare so someone quite likes them
:-)

And i like something I can't really mention on a family forum, let's say I don't need Wonderbras...

Having met her, I would say that Carla's eyes are the first thing you notice - they are absolutely gorgeous and very covetable!

I think my eyes are my best feature. They're green. However, this fact apparently escaped my mum, causing this surreal conversation during a visit to Carlisle:

Me: ...but the trouble is, it wouldn't go with my eyes.

Mum: It wouldn't?

Me: No, well, they're green, you see.

Mum: Are they?

Me: You mean you don't know?

Mum: Let me see.

(Pause while we stop in the middle of a pedestrian precinct and she stares into my eyes.)

Mum: Gosh, they are, aren't they?

Me: And you've known me for _how_ long?

That's okay, my 6 other siblings are convinced that my eyes are blue just because theirs are...then when I make them look they say, oh, I always knew they were green! LOL My niece Andie, who looks and sounds almost identical to what a skinny me would look like also has the green eyes. Had to be a recessive gene, apparently!
