Sylvester says.... *plock*
actually he says peep, cheep, chirrup, squalk, muttermuttergrumblegrumble, oh and now he falls off his pirch whish is followed by a sheepish peek round to see if anyone was looking and a quick scramble back up
There's a bit more on the Hades family in LIGB, on pg 351-2 in the UK edition, where Aornis talks to Thursday from her memory.
Aornis mentions that there has been at least 83 generations in the Hades family, and goes on to say, that the family has "diabolical attributes". Perhaps the family line has been slightly watered down over the years, accounting for Styx being mearly bad, I'm sure if Mr Ff wants us to know, he'll tell all in time, or at least drop some obscure hints that will have Jon revising the Notes for years to come...

Perhaps saying 'half-human' wasn't quite correct... 'partly-human' may have been closer.
Styx seems to be the least evil. More on the human side?
I wondered if it wasn't a bit like... Has anyone seen Little Nicky?
Anyway, The Devil as Dad, and somehow he got into a fling with one of those souls that gets banished down there... And so you get the kids. Or maybe they each have different mothers, different souls.
Has anyone got the 'mother' quote on hand?
