In an astounding lack of historical perspective Swindon Council have announced that they will be demolishing the Double Helix of Carfax

How could they - don't they realise the importance of this structure?

I tried going to Arizona to acclimatise my marbles in readiness for the inevitable rebuild:

"Whether it will be dismantled to be rebuilt at a theme park in Arizona as Fforde writes has yet to be determined"

but the "what is the purpose of your visit" question at customs went surprisingly badly.

If instead of Arizona it is sold to somewhere in the Southern Hemisphere, will the marbles roll up the helix?
