Just to say 'Thanks Jon' for organising yesterday.

Top skills meant everyone arrived on time. We took the train to Howarth (and didn't let Eddie look out of the window - in case Kate reads this). Top food in a nice pub. Glad you reserved a table though. A wander up through Howarth to the parsonage and finally a nice pint of Landlord before we headed home...

A Grand Day Out.

Thank you to Jon from me as well - I would have said it before, but have only just got in front of a computer. And thank you to Skiffle too, for allowing me floor space and opportunity to practice catching pigeons...

Oh, yes, I forgot about the pigeon. Serves you right for leaving the skylight so wide open and giving the cats the possibility of climbing onto the roof. Still, at least you caught the pigeon, which is more than the cats (or Dick Dastardly) did.

Does this mean he gets a medal?

I think I've got some cardboard and some gold paint somewhere. And definitely some ribbon. Should be able to concoct a medal out of that.
On the other hand, he let the £$^^££ bird go alive. There's too many pigeons around here already. The fewer, the better, in my opinion
